By Rodger Dean Duncan. You can read the full blog here.

The Duncan Report has enjoyed a loyal following of readers around the globe. When I took a sabbatical from the blog to write a book, many of our readers sent email messages and asked “Where are you?” When I saw some of our readers at conferences and other professional gatherings, they often said “Why did you take me off your list? I really miss your blog posts.”

I don’t think I’ve ever quoted Arnold Schwarzenegger. But in the words of his title character in The Terminator, I’ve been telling people “I’ll be back.”

Now I am.

We’re happy to re-launch The Duncan Report. As always, our emphasis is on thoughtful pieces about leadership, change, organizational culture, human performance, and all subjects involving “people issues.”

Many of our posts will be immediately topical, related to current headlines. Others will be more “evergreen,” addressing subjects of timeless import.

Next week we will launch a series of exclusive interviews with people who have interesting (even provocative) things to say about human performance. Our first few guests include:

Stephen and Brent are great friends and amazing professionals, and I know you’ll enjoy hearing what they have to say.

Like you, I’m a very busy person. I don’t read or watch stuff that doesn’t add value, that doesn’t make me think about things in fresh ways, that doesn’t cause me to challenge my own assumptions about important issues. So I’ll respect your time. I’ll post blogs designed to stimulate, educate, provoke, inform, inspire.

When The Duncan Report lands in your in-box, I hope you’ll take a brief break from your day and join us in the dialogue. Remember, our primary purpose is to help smart people work smarter.
