James Beck

The Power of Kindness, Gratitude, Serving Others and Paying-It-Forward.

James Beck is a relationship building expert, Structural Integration Therapist, creator of Beck Balance Wellness Workshops, speaker, author, and founder of Give Beck, teaching people how to transform relationships through kindness and service to others.

James’ childhood was defined by an abusive father.

In an attempt to remove the remaining PTSD and anxiety that lingered from childhood, James developed a way to use service as a means to create new neural pathways adjusting perspective and behavior.

James tested his theory in a nationwide, year-long, social experiment.

He gave away his possessions and served one person or family in each state for three days, only asking that they Pay-It-Forward.

By embracing the concept of giving so that others may give more, also known as ‘Pay-It-Forward’ — James went from being riddled with anxiety to becoming the happiest and most fulfilled person he knows.

James teaches individuals and organizations how to use a service mindset to build, grow, maintain, and repair relationships resulting in a remarkable ripple effect. One which has the ability to not only change your life and those around you, but the lives of strangers you may never meet.

He demonstrates just how powerful one act of kindness, no matter how small, can change someone’s destiny, help you to overcome adversity, reduce anxiety and create a life of purpose and happiness.

James inspires crowds of all ages and professions, customizing the message to the needs of your audience. In addition to his TEDx Talk, he has worked with schools, universities, military groups, at-risk youth groups, Caroline Myss’ personal development conference, Anti-Human Trafficking organizations, The National Charity League, The Wealth Counsel, the Navajo Nation, and Amare Global: The Mental Wellness Company. His project was featured on CBS, Fox News, and National Fox & Friends.

LIVE BY GIVING -THE POWER OF GIVING BACK

If you are looking for an inspirational presentation, look no further. In his presentations, James Beck shows you how to achieve authentic happiness personally and professionally, improve your business culture, and grow relationships, through service to others. James Beck had a life that seemed enviable… a Beverly Hills job… a place by the beach… but it felt empty and lacked purpose. Unhappy with the direction life was going, he set out to find a new path, one with meaning and fulfillment. In 2011, he gave away his possessions and committed one year to serving someone in each state for three days, only asking that they pay-it-forward. By beginning each state with the question, “How can I help you?”, he explored how to live in a constant state of giving. He discovered that service and kindness fostered healthy, meaningful relationships, filling him with joy and happiness. His story highlights the immediate impact of his service to these individuals and families. As the pay-it-forward actions spread through the communities, the most significant transformation in people’s lives were revealed over time. James shares some of these blossoming ripple-effects in his presentations. Through stories, videos and photos, you’ll witness how one small act of kindness truly can change someone’s destiny.

This epic journey reveals the kind of life-changing transformation that only happens when you learn to Live by Giving. You’ll learn how to use a service mindset to build, grow, maintain, and repair relationships. You’ll learn that serving and encouraging others, serves and encourages your own soul. You’ll learn how to grow a healthy mindset and positive attitude to overcome adversity, making the most out of every circumstance. You’ll learn how being kind to others reduces stress and enables you to cope and overcome stressful situations.

LIVE BY GIVING – SERVANT LEADERSHIP

Do you want your organization filled with autonomous and free-thinking leaders that look to solve issues before they become problems?

Servant Leadership epitomizes the greatest good that any leader can accomplish with their team. This leadership style produces a thriving and profitable work culture by enhancing consciousness and accelerating performance when demonstrated well.

The problem is: How does a single leader shift an entire organization into this healthier mindset without push-back from organizational veterans rooted in the old habits that limit corporate culture?

Servant Leadership isn’t a model to follow or a style to display. It’s not something you would follow step by step on any Management Training. Instead, it’s a philosophy to be adhered to, a mindset to demonstrate, and an attitude to manifest under actual leadership conditions: ‘wanting to serve first.’ When done correctly, you will see an incredible camaraderie between team members, a higher purpose driven by the business, and a commitment to excellence that other philosophies can’t touch.

Would you like your people to be more authentic, empathetic, and value others as human beings? Do you wish your group would cultivate relationships with others so they can provide valuable direction without needing your input? Or maybe you want your team to look for ways to help each other, increasing teamwork effectiveness?

James Beck’s ‘Live by Giving’ keynote provides a pivotal milestone for organizations to strengthen the effectiveness of their teams.

Beck utilizes over 20 years of experience working with ancient and modern concepts to expedite your organization’s journey into developing their people, drive a vision that inspires a group into action, get individuals to buy into a better future, and build cohesion to accomplish your goals.

The ‘Live by Giving’ keynote shows how people are inherently good and want to grow goodness in humanity. The message reveals how any act of kindness can add to another act of kindness, resulting in a ripple effect of exponential good that impacts anybody connected to the service.
