This inspiring moment, coupled with her resilience through the numerous obstacles she overcame to make it to the Olympic podium, is what makes her story so compelling and applicable for audiences around the globe.

As the #1 skeleton racer in the world in 2005, she was hit by a bobsled in a tragic accident that cost her her Olympic spot in the 2006 games. Her road to recovery and return to competition was unparalleled for a compound fracture. At only 5 weeks after this devastating event, Noelle was back on her sled across the globe, competing for that Olympic spot.

Noelle uses her fantastic storytelling abilities to connect with the audience as she shares among other great messages, how life’s setbacks are the stepping stones to our greatest successes. WHERE YOU LOOK IS WHERE YOU’LL GO | CREATING A RESILIENT MINDSET

On February 14, 2014, Noelle Pikus Pace crossed the finish line at the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia, and finally earned an Olympic medal- but it wasn’t an easy road. She learned through her trials the importance of setting specific goals each and every day in an effort to progress forward. After a terrible crash in Germany, she realized the importance of eliminating doubts, fears, and worries within our daily lives and that “Where You Look is Where You’ll Go”. Noelle will undoubtedly INSPIRE you, make you laugh and WIN YOU OVER as she shares this story and applies it to life.

YOU ALWAYS HAVE A CHOICE | OVERCOMING OBSTACLES & NAVIGATING CHANGE

As the number one ranked female skeleton athlete in the world, Noelle was expected to not only compete in the 2006 Olympics but bring home the gold, but she suffered a tragic accident as a bobsled uncontrollably left the icy track and hit her just 3 months prior to the Olympic Games. As she lay on the asphalt, she realized that her leg was broken, and her dreams shattered. Through the ensuing weeks, Noelle would prove that miracles do exist as she makes her way back to the track to compete in under 5 weeks.

Noelle shares an inspiring story that opened her eyes to realize that she still had a choice to make. She could look back and be upset and angry at what had just happened, or she could CHOOSE to move forward. We all face difficulties and trials in our lives. Not one of us is immune to heartache, roadblocks, or obstacles. But we ALWAYS have a choice to make, once those difficulties arise. We can choose to look back… or we can choose to move forward.

SMALL AND SIMPLE THINGS | THE POWER OF 1%

Shoelaces cost Noelle an Olympic medal! Following a fourth-place finish at the Vancouver Olympic Games in 2010, Noelle Pikus Pace was devastated. After accumulating her 4 race-times by traveling at speeds of 90-miles per hour down a mile-long track, she missed an Olympic medal by 1/10th of a second. She had followed her training program diligently. Noelle had studied the track and knew how to steer her sled down the course. Was there something she missed? Fourth-place was a good place to finish, but it was far from great. The summer following the Olympic Games Noelle decided to watch her Olympic race for the first time. It was then that she made a devastating realization: her shoelaces were dragging the entire way down the mile-long track and cost her an Olympic medal.

FOCUSED: KEEPING YOUR LIFE ON TRACK ONE CHOICE AT A TIME

This keynote is based on portions of Noelle’s book which has sold over 30,000 copies. To keep this current, as of 2023, attendees at keynotes across the nation are still bringing their personal copy of her book to have her sign it.

Noelle has a GIFT of speaking in front of others and that INSPIRES them to become better. In this keynote, Noelle will share impactful experiences from her Olympic career that have helped shape who she is and have allowed her to find success in life as well as on the competitive podium. To add to this, Noelle will empower attendees with the motivation and a plan to become better. They will be inspired to see the good in life and how they can increase their personal contribution both at work and at home, resulting in a better & happier employee.

WE DID IT! | THE POWER OF WORKING TOGETHER

When Noelle jumped into the stands to celebrate her Olympic silver medal performance, she exclaimed “WE DID IT, WE DID IT”! The magnitude of joy from this moment was shared throughout the world and carries a very relatable tune to viewers: that is they either understand the power and possibilities of working together or they hope for the moment in which they can share that same joy with a team of their own.

ANTICIPATE THE CURVES | USING PRESSURES TO YOUR ADVANTAGE

Noelle will INSPIRE your team and give them HOPE as she recounts unique stories from her personal experiences. In the sport of skeleton, athletes experience up to 5 G’s of pressure as they speedily race down winding icy tracks. Many athletes find themselves thrown from their sleds as they fail to understand how to use these pressures to make it through the track.

Likewise, if we fail to plan and prepare, pressures in life can get the best of us. Noelle’s uplifting message will teach how to use daily pressures to your advantage for SUCCESS!
